The documentary LONG TERM takes a look at life for the Long-Term Unemployed in and around Portland, Oregon.  An experience shared by at least 3.6 million people (latest official numbers - though many believe that number is far higher), Long-Term Unemployment is largely understood through assumptions, misconceptions, and the like. 

For LONG TERM, the filmmaker will investigate not the root causes of Long Term Unemployment; but rather the human cost and experience.
